Doors

Academy Custom Interiors offer a range of sliding and hinged doors to suit your needs and budget (but we do not do internal doors). We offer a range of designs and finishes.

We offer a free measure and quote service within the Perth metro area. For areas further afield we generally do a provisional quote based on your plans or measurements, then should you then go ahead we will visit on site and do a measure (there would be additional costs for travel to those areas). If you are still at the building stage we can give you a quote from your building plans, or if you require sliding mirror doors we can give you a quote over the phone. Our tradesmen are fully qualified and employed by Academy Custom Interiors, so you can rest assured that our own professionals are handling your project.

We recommend doors based on your requirements and how much space you have in your room. All our products are custom made so we can generally design something no matter how awkward the area, using a variety of styles, some incorporating both sliding and hinges doors.

Sliding doors take less room overall but we do have to make the cupboard slightly deeper. Access can also be a bit tighter with sliding doors. Sliding doors range from standard mirror doors in aluminium frames, white glass in aluminium frames, plain 25mm doors, recessed panel doors, shoji doors and 2 pack painted doors.

Hinged doors allow better access but do come further in to the room. Also depending on your house, some styles suit opening doors much better, older federation style home tend to suit a hinged painted door rather than a modern sliding white glass door. Hinged doors range from a plain laminate doors, to vinyl wrap doors, routed 2 pack satin lacquer doors, and doors with glass or Perspex panels.
